Our Tourist Residence, certified Three Stars by the CITQ (Quebec Tourist Board), is only 45 minutes from Downtown Montreal and 15 minutes from the border with upstate New York. DOMAINE ST-ALEXANDRE is a proud member of the Circuit de Paysan®, or Circuit Farmer, which offers hours of fun and relaxation kilometers to go alone, as a couple or family in the Vallée-du-Haut-Saint-Laurent. Located in the foothills of the Adirondacks, the Circuit du Paysan the U.S. border between the Richelieu River and Lake St. Francis. The U-pick berries, apples, vineyards, cider mills, dairies and meats, honey and mead, farms and lavender production are the main features.
Domaine Saint-Alexandre also offers perfect accommodations for your visit to Parc Safari, a unique Drive-Thru Safari - Zoological Garden - Recreational Park. We are less only 12 km away from the Park, with its 800 animals, interactive animation, rides, and a new Water Park and Water Rides, where tons of excitement is guaranteed for all ages from 2 to 89!
When visting us, fall in love with the breathtaking landscapes of Hemmingford Township. and explore by car on on your bicycle on the vast network of bike paths crossing Monteregie. Settled originally in 1799 by British Loyalists, Hemmingford was named for a pair of villages in Cambridgeshire, England. As a standing testimonial to the history of a bygone era and its distinctly European heritage, Hemmingford can be proud to host some of the finestold stone dwellings and school houses still in existence in the Northeast, that date practically from the time of its founding in 1799.
The Hemmingford Township is also home to Hemmingford Golf Course and Hemmingford's Witsend Irish Pub & Restaurant. Various cultural and artistic events including the Circuit des Arts de Hemmingford gallery tour are held annually from May to October.
